A familiar face in Streeterville for the past 12 years, Related Realty broker Robert Thomas offers his clients an edge by building and growing strong relationships with that neighborhoods residents, developers, property managers and businesses.
Born and raised in Chicago, Robert began his career as a certified Audi technician before working as a security professional in Streeterville, helping to open some of Streetervilles new high-rise condominium and apartment buildings. Over the years, he connected residents and prospects with brokers and owners looking to sell or rent their units. Before long, Robert found himself growing passionate about real estate and he obtained his brokers license in 2014. He has been working with clients in Streeterville and other popular Chicago neighborhoods ever since.
Praised for his hard work and motivational style, Robert strives to help his clients see the big picture and reach their goals, whether its a rental, purchase or sale. He particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and sharing in the joy they feel upon purchasing their first properties. Robert understands the nuances behind different clients goals and applies what he calls his 110 percent work ethic on every deal, working with buyers to find the right property in the right price range, helping sellers determine the right price in a reasonable amount of time, or guiding an investor building his or her real estate portfolio.
As an artist and graphic designer, Robert provides thoughtful aesthetic recommendations on everything from furniture configurations to wall colors to choosing the right artwork to bring a room together.
In his spare time, Robert focuses on financial literacy for youth in Chicagos urban communities. He lives in Bronzeville.
