Post-recession-record number of construction cranes now dot Chicago skyline

Mayor Emanuel along with Alderman Brendan Reilly and representatives of Related Midwest gathered on the deck of 500 N. Lake Shore Drive which overlooks the active construction site of Related Midwest’s newest endeavor, One Bennett Park at 451 E. Grand Ave. The crane on this site is the 33rd to go up setting a post-recession record for construction cranes dotting the city skyline. When finished, One Bennett Park designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, will be the tallest all-residential tower in Chicago.
