Curt Bailey

Curt Bailey brings 20 years of executive real estate experience to his position as President of Related Midwest where he oversees new and existing development opportunities throughout the Midwest with a focus on Chicago. He leads a team of talented architectural, planning and design, development, construction, and professional services experts who are transforming the landscape of Chicago real estate.

Curt is responsible for a portfolio of luxury residential, mixed-use, and adaptive re-use properties valued in excess of two billion dollars, including the visionary transformation of 111 West Wacker Drive, multiple condominium and rental properties that are redefining luxury in Chicago, and quality, affordable housing dramatically improving neighborhoods throughout the city.

Prior to joining Related Midwest, Curt served as Senior Vice President at Duke Realty Corporation, where he oversaw nearly a billion dollars in national projects. Before that, he held executive development positions at Archon Group and Opus North Corporation responsible for projects across the Midwest.

A proud member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties, and the International Council of Shopping Centers, Curt also serves on the board of directors for the Ounce of Prevention Fund and is a director at The French International School of Chicago. He is an alumnus of the University of Colorado, Boulder.
