About Real Estate in Chicago - City Central
Real Estate in Central Chicago means living where you (and others) work. High rise condo developments dominate the real estate market here, but single-family homes and walk-up townhomes can be had for the right price.
The Loops real estate market is almost entirely high-rise condos. All of them are walkable to Millenium Park and Chicagos Magnificent Mile shopping district.

River North is less congested than The Loop and offers a more diverse mix of real estate options, including some townhomes and mid-rise condo units. Lofts are also available in River North, which borders Chicagos Gold Coast and offers access to the hottest shops and restaurants in the city.

Streeterville includes Chicagos Magnificent Mile and hugs some of the citys most-prime lakefront, including Navy Pier. Streeterville real estate options are mostly high-rise condos, all on the higher-end.

South Loop Condos are more affordable than their North Side equivalents, and just as convenient.
