West Town real estate

Between River North and Garfield Park lies a community known as West Town. The major neighborhoods of West Town include Eckhart Park, Noble Square, Ukrainian Village, East Village and Wicker Park. Wicker Park. A 2004 movie entitled Wicker Park starred Josh Hartnett and Diane Kruger, and was filmed in Wicker Park.

Popular Landmarks

In 1991, much of Wicker Park was designated as a Chicago landmark district. Wicker Park was so named in honor of Charles Wicker, who was a politician and land developer who donated the park to the city of Chicago in 1870. Wicker Park is renowned for its Victorian architecture, which is represented in the homes along Pierce and Hoyne Streets.
